Hundreds of junior students competed at Binh Thuan 22nd Young Informatics Competition

BTO – As many as 213 Young students from 10 districts, townlet and city partook in the online short-list round of the Binh Thuan 22nd Junior Informatics Competition. The event, which took place on April 25th, is held by the coordination of the HCYU of Binh Thuan province, the Departments of Education and Training, Science and Technology, Information and Communication, Finance, and the Binh Thuan TV and Radio station.

After the first round, 183 students from selection teams and 30 students with the highest scores have been short-listed by the Jury. Those students are divided into 3 tables of A, B, C, and creative software competition with 81, 81, 51, and 10 contestants, respectively. 10 students who took part in the Software Creation competition had to represent their works before the examiner board.

After 1 earnest day of competition, the top positions of Table A, B, and C called the names of primary student Huynh Ngoc Phu Quy (Tuyen Quang primary school – Phan Thiet city),; Student Kieu Quang Huy (Hung Vuong secondary school), and student Mai Nhu Anh Khoa (Tran Hung Dao gifted high school) respectively. With respect to the Software Creation competition, students of Tanh Linh high school Hoang Kim Long outstandingly gained second prize (without first prize).

Overall, the Phan Thiet City team was wholly placed first position in this competition.

The Binh Thuan Young Informatics Competition, which is an annual activity, aims to select excellent students and teams to participate in the 27th National Young Informatics Competition.

In this year’s contest, the Jury has detected and cultivated 682 talented students, promoting the information activities and study among teenagers and adolescents, improving the province’s junior human resources.
