| Tourism officials of the three localities met in HCMC |
A programme, known as Tourism Development Triangle of HCM City, Lam Dong Province and Binh Thuan Provinces had been launched in June 5th, 2013 with various inter-regional tours which offer people chances to visit the beautiful beaches in Mui Ne, the picturesque landscapes and flowers in Da Lat and bustling markets of HCM City. For cooperation field, the three localities would exchange information on tourism strategies, investment and incentives to pave the way for travel investors.
According to Ngo Minh Chinh, director of Binh Thuan Province’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the three localities should support together, especially in the areas of infrastructure investment, promotion, advertisement and human training to create truly unique inter-regional tours to attract local and international visitors. Binh Thuan will observe first dragon fruit festival in October 2018 and wrap up 5 years of the programme.
The cooperation programme offer tourists combined tours which they can relax on white-sand beaches in Mui Ne, then enjoy cool air with multiple flowers and do shopping in HCM city.
Over the past 4 years, Investors from HCM city have pumped nearly VND 31.25 trillion into 240 travel projects in Binh Thuan province, while Lam Dong province has attracted VND 30 trillion in 100 projects from the HCM city.
Tourism sector officials from the three localities agreed to further promote the cooperation programme and work with a group of 30 leading travel firms in the three localities to develop new products.
