Final seminar on Binh Thuan’s tourism development project

BTO - After 2 similar seminars held in June and July 2019, the People’s committee of Binh Thuan province has conducted a last seminar, in its third times, on the development for Binh Thuan tourism from 2025 until 2030. The event was chaired by Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Hoa, with the participation of leaders of agencies, localities and the consultation unit – McKinsey & Company Group.

At the seminar, representative of McKinsey & Company Group reported the progress of construction the project in the upcoming time through initiatives, proposals, implementation solutions (schedule, strategies to mobilize capitals, marketing planning), etc. With such great potentials, Binh Thuan tourism may welcome 22 million visitors, including 5.5 million international tourists, an average of wallet spending of VND 2.7 million per tourist per time in 2030, if the project is implemented effectively.

On behalf of the local leaders, Vice Chairman of the PPC Nguyen Duc Hoa thanked the consultants and sponsors for their dedication and efforts into the development of Binh Thuan tourism. He assigned the department of culture, Sports and Tourism to put forwards the project as it fully grasps legal regulations.

On account of McKinsey & Company Group, Binh Thuan’s leader kindly requested the unit to continue briefing the project’s content and represent it at the September 2019 Binh Thuan Investment Conference.
