The projects have been added to the 7th national power planning (period 2018-2020) by the Prime Minister and connected to national power grid. Accordingly, Song Binh 1 solar power plant, which has a desinged capacity of 50 MW, is expected to have a total area of 70 hectares in Song Binh commune, a place with over 2,700 hours of sunlight per year. The plant will be linked with national power grid via the 110kV network. Song Binh 1 solar power plant has an investment capital of VND 1.074 trillion. 30% of which is sourced from EVN’s own budget and the remaining 70% is borrowed fund of EVN.
The solar power plant of Song Binh 2 &3 will be built on an area of 182 hectares with a total capital of more than VND 4.248 trillion. The investor has suggested functional bodies in Binh Thuan to review the current situation of these projects and make proper adjustment to facilitate its investment progress.
