BTO – Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Ngoc Dong and his accompanies has arrived in Binh Thuan on Thursday morning (September 10th) to work with the local authorities on the Eastern section of the South-North Expressway, period 2017-2020. Mr. Le Tuan Phong – Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Tuan Phong hailed the delegation.
The project of North-South expressway passing by Binh Thuan province has a total length of 160.3 km, with a total period of clearance area of 1,221.51 hectares; including 80.72 square kilometers of the Cam Lam – Vinh Hao section, and 775 hectares of Vinh Hao – Phan Thiet section; Phan Thiet-Dau Giay section with 365.8 hectares. The total province has 2,650 project-affected households and 34 organizations.
Deputy Director of Department of Transport Nguyen Huu Trung reported that 95.7 percent of compensation files have been dealt with. The total capital of compensation assigned for the whole province is VND 1,501.89 billion, accounting for 77.9 percent. Besides, the whole province has 5 newly-built habitation areas in serve for the clearance site.
Deputy Minister Dong appraised the province’s high capacity in site clearance and compensation. He urged the locality to complete the rest work in September so as to allocate the site for investors as scheduled.
