At a meeting with the delegation, Mrs. Tran Thi Kim Chung-deputy rector of BTVC warmly welcomed Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi and other delegates. She gave the guests a general introduction about the unit’s history, current training programs, as well as some demands for training lecturers and students in the fields of technological engineering, automation, information technology. At the same time, Mrs. Chung highly appreciated this visit, saying that it would open more cooperation opportunities between BTVC with Indian universities, colleges, institutes, as well as enterprises. She aslo expressed her wish to get support from Consulate General of India in training equipment for information technology and forming a digital library for BTVC.
Consul General Madan Mohan Sethi acknowlegded all proposals and pledged to set up an online library network for BTVC with the fund from the government of India. He asked BTVC to propose concrete plans to promote training programs, that can be carried out online or the unit can send its lecturers and senior students to India for study in India. Eventually, Mr. Sethi also hoped to promote cultural exchanges between Vietnam and India for sustainable partnerships between BTVC and India institutions.
