Binh Thuan tourism sector gained successful achievements in 2019

Notably, 5 accommodations with 357 rooms are reckoned as 5-star standard hotels, the other 27 accommodations with 3,020 rooms gain 4-star standards. Sixty 3-star accommodations with 1,210 rooms, nineteen 2-star accommodation with 810 rooms and twenty-four 1-star accommodations with 586 rooms have been picked up. Additionally, there are 557 apartments and 315 villas in the province.

So far, the total 56 travel agencies are operating in the locality in the areas of transportation, eating and drinking, shopping, spa, sea sport entertainment, and so on. Those are trying to improve their services ‘quality to cater for domestic and international visitors.

Consequently, the overall volume of tourist arrivals to Binh Thuan hit 6,407,000 turns, a year-on-year increase of 11.39 percent, gaining 100.11 percent of the year plan. In which, international visitors posted a 14.69 percent growth over the past year. In the meantime, domestic visitors also claimed a 10.9 percent increase with 5,632,000 turns of visitors.

All active activities has contributed to the local tourism revenues of VND 15,110 billion, increasing by 17.5 percent against that of 2018 and exceeding 0.7 percent of the year plan.
