The provincial Party Standing Committee lately ageed with the plan to build national-standard schools in Binh Thuan 2016-2020, submitted by the provincial People’s Committee. In which, the province’s education sector will strive to reach 40 percent of public schools gaining national standards in 2020, maintain and enhance the title of existing national-standard schools (that were recognized before 2015). Binh Thuan is planning to build at least 88 additional schools meeting national standards in the period 2016-2020, bringing the total national-standard schools in the province to 240/600.

To standardize this number of education facilities, executive committees of party hierarchy and people’s committees at all levels should intensify their leadership and direction in combination with promoting the roles of  managing staffs, teachers and people in the province in building national-standard schools. Each school’s teaching staff and managing board must prove their abilities in organizing and managing all activities.

The educational sector should attach special importance to building up enough standardized teachers for all education levels. Teachers should also continuously improve their qualifications and skills to meet the increasing demand on teaching and educating students. Authorities at all levels must pay special attention to the performance of standardizing education facilities in the localities, especially allocating the funds for building schools in line with the master plan and roadmap.

Binh Thuan has stepped up education socialization and created favorable conditions for organizations, individuals to invest in building schools in accordance with the province’ planning and targets of building national-standard schools.
