BTO-The project of building national-standard schools in Binh Thuan province period 2016-2020, submitted by the provincial People’s Committee, was officially approved by the provincial People’s Council at the 2nd session recently. The project aims to boost the effort of building nursery and high schools meeting national standards to improve the comprehensive quality of education sector. In which, the province will strive to reach 40 percent of public schools gaining national standards in 2020, maintain and enhance the title of existing national-standard schools (that were recognized before 2015). Binh Thuan is planning to build at least 88 additional schools meeting national standards in the period 2016-2020, bringing the total national-standard schools in the province to 240/600.
The provincial People’s Council asked the provincial People’s Committee to direct the implementation of solutions in building national-standard schools in line with financial sources and construction plans, especially give the top priorities to the construction of new schools (nursery schools and elementary schools); keep on stepping up education socialization to mobilize effectively the community and families to join education activities.
