Being established in 1998 with a safe cabinet factory, NTD Corporation is now specializing in 4 major industries with 13 subsidiaries. According to the corporation’s chairman Bui Canh Trung Son, Dong Ha Korea NTD Industrial Park is set up for South Korean investors to implement centralized investment projects in Vietnam, aiming to provide and make use of environmentally friendly energy sources.

Located in Dong Ha commune, Duc Linh district, Binh Thuan province, the industrial park covers an area of 450 hectares with a total investment capital of over USD 141 million. This project consists of four component projects: Dong Ha industrial cluster (70 ha), NTD Korea industrial park (300 ha), Dong Ha Eco Lake city residential area (50ha), and NTD Solar power project (30 ha). The finished project is expected to create jobs for local human resources with about 50,000 people in Duc Linh district and the neighboring areas.
Addressing at the meeting, Mr. Luong Van Hai highly appriciated the implementation of the project, citing that the provincial authorities have totally agreed with the construction of Dong Ha industrial cluster on an area of 70 hectares. When being completed and put into operation in February, 2018, local government will make assessment on the effectiveness and investment attraction level. If this industrial cluster is filled up 50%, the province will accept the establishment of a new industrial cluster or seek for the central Government’s approval for the formation of Korea NTD Industrial Park. On the other hand, Mr. Hai asked NTD group to consider the feasibility of the 30-hectare-solar energy project. He emphasized that Binh Thuan province always welcomes and creates conditions for all investors that have the capacity to ensure the projects’ efficiency and avoid the waste and loss of natural resources. He assigned Department of Planning and Investment to take responsibility for assisting NTD Corp to finish investment procedures for Dong Ha industrial cluster.
