But most of those vehicles are old cars (Russian UAZ, Jeep…) with expired registrations that prompted public concerns over traffic safety. Despite the efforts of local authorities to crack down on illegal operation of expired cars on roads, this transport service has still developed due to increasingly demand of tourists. With the purpose of offering visitors a safe and lawful transport service for their trips to discover Mui Ne-Ham Tien, Sun Taxi Binh Thuan JSC, under the license of Binh Thuan’s authorities, has invested in purchasing 10 new vehicles imported from Russia for a pilot model to explore the tour Phan Thiet-Mui Ne-Bau Trang. The model is expected to contribute to removing the use of expired cars in taking tourists on tours of Ham Tien-Mui Ne and creating a new momentum for tourism development in Phan Thiet city.

In Binh Thuan, Jeep tours can help visitors enjoy spectacular view of sunrise and sunset on Ke Ga Cape, or make a tour around Ta Cu Mountain. The newly-launched vehicles of SunTaxi can also participate in many events to promote cultural festivals and tourism activities in the localities.
Up to now, 13 vehicles (mainly 5-7 seat UAZ and Jeep…) have been authorized as “rental cars” to take tourists on tours around Mui Ne, Ham Tien, Hoan Rom (Phan Thiet) and Bau Trang (Bac Binh).
Sun Taxi Company plans to import more Jeep taxis to serve for tourists on the tours Ham Tien-Mui Ne-Hoa Thang-Bac Binh-Phan Thiet.
