As a whole, export revenue of 2018 is estimated to hit about USD 431.19 million, raising by 11.75% against last year’s figure. In particular, exports of group of marine products posted a turnover of USD 145.77 million (up 3.65%) while export group of agricultural products suffered fall of 24.97% in 2018, with only USD 11.49 million. Group of other products reported a total export eranings of USD 273.94 million (up 19.14%).
In 2018, 6,860 tons of dragon fruit were exported, a year-on-year increase of 53.02%. In the mean time, export volume of seafood saw a slight fall of 5.27%, with 17,382 tons.
Direct exportation in 2018 reached an estimated turnover of USD 411.68 million, raising by 12.52% compared to last year. In which, export value to Asian markets realized USD 264.44 million (up 11.54%). Export to Europe achieved USD 68.33 million (up 20.18%) while export to America reached a combined revenue of USD 72.49 million.
