Binh Thuan’s photographer won FIAP’s silver medal

BTO – Binh Thuan’s photographer Nguyen Van Anh (Member of Binh Thuan Association of Arts and Literatures) has received a silver medal for his work “Cơn mưa chiều” (The afternoon rain) at the 12th international Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) in Vietnam in 2023 (VN-23).

VN-23 is organized by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA) with the patronage of the International Federation of Photographic Arts (FIAP) and the Association of Images Without Borders (ISF). The contest has 4 topics including: open-color photos, open-monochrome photos, Children (both color and monochrome) and Ideas (both color and monochrome).

The contest has attracted a total of 10,330 entries by 1,077 authors from 32 countries around the world. Nguyen Van Anh (born in 1967 in Phan Thiet City) is the only artist of Binh Thuan winning the FIAP’s Silver Medal at the VN-23 contest in the Children's content. His work "Afternoon rain" was created on the occasion of the author's field trip to create in Duc Binh commune, Tanh Linh, Binh Thuan.
