Binh Thuan’s exporters beef up to participate in foreign distribution systems

Garment products made in Binh Thuan are heading towards directing participating in foreign distribution networks

The current situation has urged Binh Thuan’s exportation sector to seek for direct participation in foreign distribution systems. For short- term strategy, local export industry basically relies on garment, footwear and seafood manufacturers. At the same time, Binh Thuan authorities is expected to create good conditions to attract foreign investors, giving priorities to production of advantaged export products. Foreign-invested enterprises are enouraged to cooprerate with local businesses in taking local products to global distribution channels.

To implementing the Government’s plan to help Vietnamese businesses directly participate in foreign distribution networks through 2020 at provincial level, Binh Thuan authorities will work hard to provide an overall information and data of the province’s enterprises and export products for foreign partners. In addition, Binh Thuan must also intensify the dissemination on high-quality production in line with international standards, ensuring “products made in Binh Thuan” always meet the requirements of foreign distribution systems. Trade promotion programmes will be implemented with practical content to help local exporters enhance their competitiveness and successfully penetrate into product distribution networks in foreign countries.
