| Garments play key role in Binh Thuan's exports |
To bring the better fruit, the Provincial People’s Committee has lately issued plans to implement the scheme on enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese export commodities until 2020, and a vision towards 2030 in Binh Thuan province.
Accordingly, the locality focuses on improving the values and quality of advantageous exports as well as raise their export volume of Agro-forestry and fishery products to Markets of the US, EU, Japan, South Korea, etc.
In the 2016-2020 period, Binh Thuan is putting its best to increase the local export growth rate by 2.84 percent per year, and uplift the export revenue to the milestone of USD 380 million by 2020. In the next ten years, the locality keeps on advancing both quality and value of a number of advantageous products for exports to reach the target of USD 1 billion export turnover by 2030.
