The delegation from Binh Thuan was received by representatives of Mitsubishi Group in Tokyo, Japan.
The meeting turns around the economic cooperation between the locality and the Mitsubishi Group in Vietnam. Binh Thuan’s leader also presented brief introduction about the province’s potentiality and advantages which can foster the Group’s investment in the upcoming time.
As of April 2018, Binh Thuan has a total of 1,414 projects with a total registered capital investment of VND 277,753 billion, including 113 FDI projects with USD 3.2 billion investment. Japan has 7 projects worth USD 21 million in Binh Thuan province, said Chairman Nguyen Ngoc Hai at the meeting.
Such advantages and potential, chairman Hai expects to see many more investment projects from Japan in general and Mitsubishi in particular to the locality in the forthcoming time. The areas welcomed for investment in Binh Thuan are clean energy, hi-tech agricultural production, agro-forestry and fisheries, electricity installment, education, culture, health, science and technology.
