Particularly, the MoARD announced 51 fishing boat berths during storm in 20 coastal provinces/cities in the first phrase. Of the whole, Binh Thuan has 5 anchoring areas for fishing vessels during storm in 5 localities, including: Lien Huong, Phan Ri Cua, Phu Hai, Phan Thiet fishing port and Lagi port. In which, the fishing vessel berth in La Gi is the largest one that can contain up to 1,000 fishing boats of 600CV-capacity and below at the same time while Phu Hai and Phan Ri Cua berths have capacity of from 900-1000 fishing boats of 400CV-capacity and under. The berths in Phan Thiet and Lien Huong are smaller with a capacity of only 300 fishing boats of under the size of 300-400CV and below.
