The extensive project, which has a total investment capital of VND 157.58 billion, covers a total area of 9,973 square meters, with 5 groups of generators and a transformer with a designed capacity of 5x1,000 kW.
It is projected to start construction in the second quarter of 2017 and will be put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2017, meeting the supplementary demand for electricity generation and ensuring the power supply while the turbines are operating. The project also helps upgrade the belief of the islanders in power supply.
