Specifically, there will be 5 firework showing-off points located in districts, towns, and cities, with a duration of no more than 15 minutes. Among them, in Phan Thiet City, there will be 1 shooting point with a quantity of 150 sets; La Gi town with 1 point and a quantity of 120 sets; Tuy Phong, Bac Binh, and Ham Thuan Bac districts will each have 1 shooting point with a quantity of 90 sets.

Accordingly, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee has assigned the People’s Committees of districts, towns, and cities to proactively select and decide on the locations for organizing low-range fireworks, ensuring convenience, security, order, and suitability to the actual situation for people to watch. The shooting time will start from 00:00 to 00:15 on February 10, 2024.
The funding for implementation will be mobilized from socialization by the People’s Committees of districts and towns, without using state budget. As for the shooting point in Phan Thiet City, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism will allocate funds from the socialization source provided by businesses that sponsored the activities of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 but have not been fully utilized.
In addition, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism will lead the development of a special artistic program to serve the people and tourists on Lunar New Year’s Eve, Year of the Snake in 2024 at the premises of the provincial Theater and Cultural Art Exhibition (from 20:00 on February 9, 2024, to 00:00 on February 10, 2024).
They will also provide guidance to districts, towns, and cities on the construction and organization of cultural, artistic, and sports activities to celebrate the Party and the Spring, serving the people and tourists during the Lunar New Year holiday.
For the relevant units and the People’s Committees of districts, towns, and cities, it is necessary to develop plans and organize cultural, artistic, sports, recreational, and entertainment activities, ensuring security and order to serve the people and tourists in their respective localities during the Lunar New Year 2024.
In particular, each locality must organize an artistic program on New Year’s Eve at the center of the district, town, or city. Directing and assigning functional forces to collect waste and clean up the sanitation around the area where activities are organized immediately after the program ends, ensuring a clean and beautiful landscape environment.
For localities that organize low-range fireworks, they should proactively coordinate with the Provincial Military Command and Provincial Police to ensure the necessary forces and conditions to safely and beautifully carry out the low-range fireworks on New Year’s Eve.
