Bao Viet Insurance Corporation gives strength to students on their paths to schools

BTO –On July 19th morning, Bao Viet Insurance Company in cooperation with Vietnam Children Sponsor Fund (VCSF) organized a walking program to raise fund for young students in Phan Thiet city.  The ceremony had the attendance of deputy minister of the Labor-Invalids and social Affairs Dao Hong Lan; vice director of the VCSF Dinh Tien Hai; vice chairman of the provincial Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front; leaders of the provincial Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs as well as 50 disadvantaged children in the province.

Under the theme “Connecting Love – Enjoying study”, the fundraising program has attracted 1,200 employees of Bao Viet life Insurance Company, walking through 1.3 kilometers long to spread the message “Ready to join hands for a better society by practical and rich human actions”, contributing to building a prosperous, peaceful life and social development.

The fundraising program, which takes place in three provinces of Quang Ninh, Da Nang and Binh Thuan, has mobilized nearly 100,000 contributors working part-time and full-time at the company. The program targets at sharing and supporting children with difficult circumstances throughout the country; fostering their study conditions; encouraging them to reach the bright future dreams and become helpful people in favor of the country’s development.

At the event, the VCSF granted VND 200 million to disadvantaged children in Binh Thuan while Bao Viet company offered them 50 bikes, 50 backpacks. This meaningful activity is part of the scholarship-granting program, named “Educational welfares – getting bicycles to go to school” with a total of 1,500 bikes and 1,500 backpacks, worth VND 3 billion for studious students across the country.
