This meaningful activity is part of the program entitled “The journey of the rising generations to be ready for the sea borders and islands”, which is launched by these two units. The program provided carings and sharings of teachers and official of Cu Chi district for the islanders. It has been considered as an encouragement for local fishermen so that they continue clinging to the sea to develop fishing while protecting national sovereignty over sea and islands.

On that occasion, the units also granted 6 scholarships worth VND 1 million each to students of officers of Phu Quy Port Border Guard Station.
