The plant, which supplies clean water for Duc Tai townlet and the communes of Duc Tin, Duc Hanh, Tan Ha and Dong Ha (Duc Linh district), has been collected as one of typical projects to welcome the 14th provincial Party Congress, tenure 2020-2025.
Addressing the ceremony, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Tuan Phong stressed that the newly-inaugurated water plant is considered as an important work which helps increase clean water supplies in rural areas, contributing to enhancing living standards for people and promoting socioeconomic development of the localities. Under the policy of the provincial Party Committee and People’s Council to socialize investment capital sources for clean water supply network to ensure enough water for daily activities and production of people in the southern communes of Duc Linh district as well as 3 newly-established industrial clusters in Dong Ha commune.

The project, invested by Mai Anh Binh Thuan investment Joint Stock Company, has a capacity of 3,000 cubic meters of clean water per day with a total capital of VND 68 billion. The work has also brought the rate of households accessing to clean water supplies to 99.5% under the target set by the party congress of Duc Linh district, tenure 2020-2025.

At the ceremony, vice chairman Le Tuan Phong awarded certificates of merit of the provincial People’s committee to 1 collective and 1 person with outstanding contributions to the construction of this water plant.
