Opening the program, the campaign “Eat up food” was held at Vista hotel (The Cliff Resort and Residence) has attracted crowded visitors and foodies to participate. Foodies are encouraged to eat up their food at the program, then post their photos on social network (Facebook), using hashtag #anhetroi, #eatupfood and check-in at the restaurant. Through each successful share, The Cliff Resort and Residence will donate 20,000 VMD to the fund of “4,000 meals for the poor children”.
This campaign is to mobilize the support of both the restaurant and diners in changing the behavior of food waste, and bringing joy and sufficient meal for disadvantaged people, said Mrs. Kim Loan – human resources manager of the cliff resort and residence.
Following the program, tourists participated in planting tree at the resort’s garden in the joyful atmosphere of Tet. Each guest can plant bonsai and daisy in ready-for-use pots on their own and take them home for care.

After finishing the tree-planting program, several tourists chose to buy some nice souvenirs made of recycled materials like: newspaper, plastic cans or cans of freshwater, etc. The earnings will be used for supporting homeless and poor children in the province to celebrate Traditional Tet holiday. This is the second times that the program “Go Green” was held by The Cliff Resort and Residence for the community’s care of the environment.
