The clinic was built basing on the upgradation of Tan Thang medical station with full of functional divisions, including community health care service which carries out national health target programmes, such as: expanded programme on vaccination; emergency department, health insurance service, test laboratory, diagnostic imaging department, in-patient areas, as well as specialized departments, as follows: medicine, general surgery, obstetrics-pediatrics, otohinolaryngology, opthalmology,odonto-stomalogy, oriental medicine. The newly-built clinic is projected to contribute to provide sufficient health care services for people in the outlying areas.
With full of state-of-the-art equipment and medical facilities, Thang Hai regional polyclinic gives timely emergency aid, ease time and costs, as well as limit hazard for the locals in hospital transfer. However, the clinic’s incomplete facility system is awaiting further investment to play its important role in caring people’s health.
