At the event, which tooked place following the provincial People’s Committee’s decision on the issuance of “Binh Thuan’s programme on economic and effective use of energy by 2017”, delegates accessed to a series of power-saving lighting solutions, particularly LED (Light Emitting Diode) lighting technology, that uses new high tech LED light bulbs with many advantages. This lighting technology helps save from 30 to 70 percent of electricity consumption compared with using traditional lighting systems. For that reason, Binh Thuan authorities are encouraging the use of LED light bulbs among the localities, agencies, enterprises, households… in order to cut down power costs and contribute to lessening burden of investment for power sector.
