Rare fair of coastal gastronomy opened in Phan Thiet

BTO – As a part of a series of activities in celebration of Binh Thuan Tourism Day (October 24), the 2015 Binh Thuan Tourism Culinary Competition opened at Nguyen Tat Thanh square, Phan Thiet city on the night of October 22nd, 2015. The event had the attendance of vice chairman of Binh Thuan provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Tam and head of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The organizing board awarded certificates to bussiness units particitating in the gastronomy fair

Dozens of well-known chefs of many travel accommodations in the locality and Ho Chi Minh city have converged on the site to compete in cooking aptitude.  Some valuable specialities and delicacies shall be introduced to visitors and foodies, such as: “Lau Tha” (Pot-au-feu) of Seahorse Resort; half-dried squid of Cay Bang restaurant, and some Russian traditional dishes of Palmira resort, Barbecue of Muine Bay resort, fresh seafood of Oriental Pearl Hoang Ngoc resort, etc. In addition to delicious dishes with appropriate prices, a number culinary art shows have been demonstrated to serve foodies at the gastronomy fair till October 24th.

The contest started at 16:00pm October 24th with the participation of travel business and jury board from Ho Chi Minh city and Binh Thuan province.
