On the visit, Mr. Canh, on behalf of the provincial authorities, warmly sent the best greetings to the provincial executive board of Buddhist Sangha, wishing all Buddhist dignitaries and followers a peaceful Vu Lan celebration (known as Buddhist Parents’s Day, one of the traditional festivals of Buddhist followers in Vietnam). Over the past time, Buddhism has made remarkable contributions to socio-economic development in the locality as well as the national unity bloc. The provincial leader hoped that the provincial Buddhist Sangha would continue contributing to national construction and defense. He also suggested the Buddhist Sangha mobilize Buddhist followers to strictly implement preventive measures and join hands with local authorities in the prevention of the Covid-19 pandemic.
