Panels to propagandize environmental protection appear on Phu Quy island

BTO –The Department of Culture-Sports and Tourism has recently placed a number of panels disseminating the Code of Conduct and Environmental Protection in tourist attraction on the island. The move aims to promote Phu Quy destination to visitors nationwide and worldwide.

Some 10 panels have appeared and conveyed messages of Do’s and Don’ts in some tourist sites and historical-cultural relics to protect the environment. Accordingly, visitors can easily catch sights of propaganda panels at national flag-pole; Cao Cat Mountain- Linh Son pagoda; Trieu Duong bay; Tranh Isle; Ba Chua temple relic; An Thanh temple; Linh Quang pagoda; Cam Mountain – lighthouse; Nho beach – Ganh Hang and Phu Quy wharf.  

Panels to disseminate environmental protection

The panels covers contents of the Circular No.19 dated December 30th, 2013 of the Ministry of Culture-Sports and Tourism and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on Guideline of Environment protection in activities of tourism, festival organization and heritage promotion and protection. Besides, It extracts contents of the Code of Conduct under Decision No.718 dated March 2nd, 2017 of the Ministry of Culture-Sports and Tourism, and the Code of Conducts in tourism activities in Binh Thuan province under the PPC’s Decision No.300/QD-UBND, dated Feb 2nd, 2017.

As projected, the Department of Culture-Sports and Tourism will add more similar panels at many tourist destinations in Phan Thiet city, La Gi town, districts of Tuy Phong, Bac Binh, Ham Thuan Nam and Tanh Linh as of late third Quarter of 2020.
