The competition, which is expected to receive entries between August 8 and October 10, is one of an array of activities in celebration of the 60th founding anniversary of Vietnam Tourism Day (July 9) and the 25 anniversary of Binh Thuan Tourism Day (October 24). Mrs Nguyen Lan Ngoc-deputy director of department of Culture-Sports and Tourism, this contest will boost propaganda to further promote the images of people, landscapes of the homeland Binh Thuan to attract domestic and international visitors.
Vietnamese people and foreigners of all ages who have ever lived, worked or travelled in Binh Thuan can submit to the organizers their photos, videos or articles featuring potentials, advantages, and the beauty of natural landscapes, cultural characteristics, local people and tourists spots in Binh Thuan province. Entries should include videos (3-5 minutes), photos, songs (newly-composed), essay,poems, chronicles…. Especially, photos are submitted to Binh Thuan Tourism Promotion Information Center directly at No. 24 Nguyen Tat Thanh Avenue-Phan Thiet city, or via email address: hotrodukhachbt@gmail.com. Video clips will be accepted by Binh Thuan Radio & Television Station at No.339-341 Thu Khoa Huan Street-Phan Thiet city, email: banbientap@bttv.org.vn. Writing works can be sent to Binh Thuan Newspaper via email baobinhthuan@gmail.com.
Contestants must provide detailed information, such as: full name, day of birth, address and name of the entry. Submitted entries will be censored by the contest’s jury and publicly puplished on websites of department of Culture-Sports and Tourism, Binh Thuan Tourism Protion Information Center, Binh Thuan Radio & Television Station, Binh Thuan Newspaper and its online version at baobinhthuan.com.vn.
An organizing board will be set up by department of Culture-Sports and Tourism and issue the contest regulations before July 20. Information relating to the competition is expected to be updated on the portal of department of Culture-Sports and Tourism at https://svhttdl.binhthuan.gov.vn.
