The Vietnam Digital Awards 2018 are presented on November 19

The award-winning products and services include the Vi Viet digital banking
service of LienVietPostBank, the QR Merchant Management System of the Vietnam
Payment Solution JSC, the Yolo digital banking service of VPBank, the VTVgo
internet TV apps of the Vietnam Television, and the FastGo.mobi ride-hailing app
of the FastGo Vietnam Co. Ltd.
Launched in late June, the awards, organised by the Vietnam Digital
Communications Association, attracted 230 entries.
Among the 34 winners, 16 are typical digital products and services aiming at
solving social issues, while the rest are outstanding companies and individuals
with strong digital transformation in their activities.
Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Minh Hong, who also
chairs the Vietnam Digital Communications Association, said the awards will be
granted annually to honour and introduce prominent digital products and services
to domestic and foreign customers. They are also meant to encourage enterprises
in all fields to invest in and apply digital technologies.
Also on November 19, a conference on the opportunities and challenges created by
digital transformation along with an international exhibition on digital
technologies were held as part of the awards.
