Accordingly, this biennial cultural event is expected to take place from August 30-September 1 (or the 20th-22nd day of the lunar July), with the purpose of preserving and developing folk culture of the Hoa ethnic community in Phan Thiet city. It has gradually become one of the most attractive events for local people and visitors. Esspecially, this year’s festival coincides the National Day on September 2.
The festival includes many parts, and the most expected activity is a procession of Quan Thanh De Quan going through downtowns streets of the city with the participation of more than 1,000 people. This traditional festival contributes to promoting the images of Phan Thiet city in domestic and foreign tourists.
