Japan-based TV Tokyo want to film Mui Ne fishing village

BTO – The People’s Committee of Binh Thuan province has recently sent document to the Department of International Cooperation (Under the Ministry of Culture-Sports and Tourism) over the matter relating a Japanese film-making crew led by Mr. Maruyama Masashi. The delegation, which includes film directors, cameramen and reporters from Japan-base TV Tokyo channel, wishes to film Mui Ne fishing village.

Accordingly, the Department of International Cooperation suggested the locality to contact the province’s Department of Information and Communication for guidance procedures for the crew making film in Binh Thuan province.

Specifically, the film crew will shoot some beautiful scenes in Phan Thiet, Mui Ne such as: Sand dunes, fishing port, scene of fishing with coracles in Mui Ne fishing village and Hiep An village (Tan Tien commune – La Gi town- Binh Thuan province). Those scenes will be shot in a whole day of November 30th. If the crew use flycam to shoot film, they must get the permission from the Department of Operations (under the Ministry of National Defense), according to Binh Thuan provincial people’s Committee.

It is known that TV Tokyo, headquartered in Toranomon, Minato, Tokyo, is a Japan’s media giant. The majority of its shares is belonged to the Japanese Economic Times, a newspaper specializing in the fields of finance, business and industry.
