Nearly 1,000 book editions on display to celebrate Vietnam Book Day

BTO- In response to Vietnam Book Day on April 21st, a book festival is scheduled to take place at the provincial Library from April 21-24 (Tran Hung Dao street-Phan Thiet city). The event is co-organized by Department of Information and Communications and Department of Culture-Sports and Tourism with the participation of Binh Thuan Library and Hung Dao Book store (directly under Binh Thuan Books and School Supplies JSC). A variety of practical activities will be held at the places above in celebration of the 3rd Vietnam Book Day.

 In particular, an exhibition with nearly 1,000 book editions through many periods of time; books on sale with a discount from 10 to 50 percent; quizzes with rewards; free internet access, and free reading cards issued for readers registered until April 30, 2016. Reportedly, Vietnam Book Day is an annual event to honor book reading habit and promote reading culture in the community.
