At the tournament, co-organized by Vietnam Sports Administration, Vietnam National Vovinam Federation, and department of Culture-Sports and Tourism of Yen Bai province, martial artists competed for 48 sets of medals with 26 combat and 22 performance events. Binh Thuan’s Vovinam squad includes young and talented athletes. They have made efforts and well performed their abilities to gain 1 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze medals. This is considered as an important achievement of Binh Thuan martial artists at a national-level and professional sports event with the purpose of finding the best and potential athletes for the 31 Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31), which is scheduled to take place in Vietnam in 2021.
