The event had the attendance of representative leaders of departments of Cultures-Sports and Tourism, 112 athletes and coaches from 8 provinces/city in the region. Binh Thuan province has the honor of contributing 4 outstanding athletes to this regional sporting event, including sisters of Nguyen Thi Le Kim and Nguyen Thi Kim Ha (Taekwondo), Nguyen Tan Cong (Judo), and Phan ngoc Sang (Canoeing).
To give the best preparation and support to local athletes at the SEA Games 30, Director of department of Culture-Sports and Tourism Ngo Minh Chinh presented them meaningful gifts and extended the best wishes. He expressed his strong hope that athletes from Binh Thuan would try their utmost to gain victory for the nation.
SEA Games 30 will officially kick of on November 30 and wrap up in December 12, with the participation of about 8,750 athletes from 11 countries in South East Asia.
