The tournament, which is the first of its kind, attracted the participation of 38 teams/clubs (including 29 teams/clubs from Binh Thuan and 9 teams/clubs from provinces of the Southeastern and Highlands), with a total of 540 young martial artists. The athletes competed for 80 sets of medals in 3 levels (52 sets of medals in performance and other 28 in combat events).
At a result, Club 3B -La Gi town (Binh Thuan province) won the first prize, followed by Di An Vovinam Club (Binh Duong), and La Van Tam Vovinam Club (Tuy Phong district-Binh Thuan province).
The success of this event has contributed to boosting the development of Vovinam in Binh Thuan and other provinces in the region.
