According to the signed contents, tourists who are members of BTA will be entitled to many preferential programs and services, such as: fare discount, cold tissue, free newspaper, onboard entertainment, ticket reimbursement at a lower fee, Organizing private tours by train, stopping at provinces, cities, tourist destinations as required by the customer and so forth.
The preferential treatment targets at improving railway activities, fostering visitors domestically and internationally to explore the pass-by tourist destinations and landscapes by train.
Reportedly, Sai Gon Railways JSC has invested and upgraded its 200 passenger cars since 2014. The Company has put 15 high-end train cars, running from Sai Gon to Nha Trang, and from Sai Gon to Phan Thiet and vice versa in early 2017. Apart from changes in forms of ticket selling to make convenience for passengers, the company has added several facilities and spacious area to comfort its guests. It plans to keep on investing in 3 new trains with 45 carriages to meet the increasing traveling demands of customers.
