Phan Thiet Tet market 2021 set to begin on February 6

As scheduled, Tet market is expected to run within 6 days, starting from the morning of February 6, 2021 (the 25th day of lunar December) to February 11, 2021 (the 30th day of the lunar December). Especially, the area along the northern bank of Ca Ty River will have a 10-day Tet market (February 2-11, 2021).

Accordingly, the 2021’s Tet market is projected to consist of 15 locations surrounding Phan Thiet market, as follows: products of confectionery, foodstuffs, electrical appliances, footwear, cosmetics, liquor/spirits will be sold along the streets of Nguyen Hue, Ly Thuong Kiet, and Dinh Tien Hoang; Nguyen Thi Minh Khai and Tran Quoc Toan streets will be areas for sales of fresh fruit, ornamental plants, beverage, fashion products…; Nguyen Thai Hoc and Trung Trac streets (section from Le Hong Phong bridge to parking lot in Trung Trac street) in the area for flowers and ornamental plants; traders from rural areas will sell vegetables, fruit and other farm produce along the north bank of Ca Ty River (from Le Hong Phong bridge to Duc Thanh bridge); along the road-sides of Chu Van An street, customers will shop all kinds of meat (pig, beef) and vegetables; along the pavement of Le Duan Avenue is the location of Tet flower market.

Functional divisions, units and people’s committees of relating wards in Phan Thiet city have been assigned practical work to ensure the safe and smooth operation of Tet market 2021 and facilitate shopping demands of the locals as well as visitors ahead of the Lunar New Year festival 2021.
