The event has 13 units with 210 athletes from the localities of Binh Thuan, Vinh Long, Dong Nai, Can Tho, Dong Thap, Tien Giang, Binh Duong and Tay Ninh, National defense 5 Sport Center 5, National defense 5 Sport Center 4. All athletes participants are aging from 11 to 17 years old, which are divided into 4 age groups (Under 11 years old, from 12-13 years old, from 14-15 years old, and from 16-17 years old). Binh Thuan has brought 11 athletes, including 5 girls and 5 boys, to the championship.
After 6 days of exciting competition, from September 18th to 23rd, Binh Thuan swimming and diving team has won 5 medals in total, including 3 silver and 2 bronze medals.
