The competition was co-organized by Vietnam Canoeing, Rowing and Sailing Federation, Vietnam Sports Administration, and Dak Nong province’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, attracted the participation of 160 racers from 6 provinces/city (Dak Nong, Quang Binh, Thai Nguyen, Hai Duong, Ho Chi Minh city, and Binh Thuan).
Binh Thuan team, with 23 male and female athletes, competed in 6 categories and eventually won 6 medals of all kinds, ranking the second after Ho Chi Minh city’ team. The team from Thai Nguyen came the third.
Since this year’s tournament, the organizing board has put into use competition boats with international standards.
