The event attracted the participation of more than 4,500 male and female athletes nationwide (in both professional and amateur categories). Binh Thuan athletics team came to this tournament with 5 runners. Phan finished the third place in the race of men’s 21.1 kilometer-event with a time of 1:13:29.
Tien Phong National Marathon 2021 was organized under the message of “The Dream of mountains and forests” in response to the call of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on planting 1 billion of trees in period 2021-2025 for a green Vietnam.
