Delegations participated in the “Áo Dài – Folk Dance” performance program.

Right after the opening ceremony, attendees enjoyed an elegant Áo Dài performance, honoring the pride and beauty of Vietnam’s traditional attire. This was followed by a vibrant and colorful folk dance show, featuring graceful movements in flowing Áo Dài set to historic patriotic songs such as “A Country Fully Rejoices,” “Spring in Ho Chi Minh City,” “Saigon Girl Carrying Ammunition,” and “Song of Building New Rural Areas.” These melodies reflected historical milestones from the resistance war against the U.S., highlighting the enduring image of Vietnamese women: resilient, dedicated, yet full of ideals and aspirations.

Speaking at the event, Mrs. Lê Thị Hải Yến emphasized that the program served as a meaningful and joyful platform to connect, unify, and foster bonds among women. It was also a chance for women to express their roles and responsibilities in preserving the good values of Vietnamese family life. Moreover, the event aimed to convey a message of protecting and promoting the traditional cultural value of the Vietnamese Áo Dài. It encouraged women to take an active role in building new rural areas and to shape the image of the modern Bình Thuận woman – knowledgeable, virtuous, healthy, and responsible to herself, her family, society, and the nation.
