BTO - The Shanghai Masters 2024 final ended with the victory of the current world No. 1. This is Sinner's second victory over Djokovic in 2024. Sinner also defeated his senior in the Australian Open semifinals this year. Although Djokovic was obstinate and stayed until the last minute, he could not “revenge” on Sinner. It can be believed that Sinner is considered Nole's "nemesis" after this victory.

Shanghai Masters 2024 marks the 141st ATP Tour final in Djokovic's career, after legends Jimmy Connors (164), Roger Federer (157), and Ivan Lendl (146). Djokovic aimed to extend his Masters 1000 championship record and become the third player to reach 100 ATP Tour titles, after Jimmy Connors (109) and Roger Federer (103). Despite the experience and spirit of "Nole", he was beaten by Sinner, a young and excellent player.

In the second set, "Nole" tried hard from the first minute to break his opponent's game. However, Sinner continued his momentum, the Italian player did not make any mistakes. Going into the fourth game, Djokovic made a mistake that cost him the game. Since then, the Serbian player could not regain the game. Extending his strength and advantage, Sinner quickly closed the second game with a set point at 6-3, winning 2-0 against Djokovic gloriously.

Despite his loss, fans still had to give compliments to "Nole". Such a miracle journey, while the 15 age gap between Dojkovic and Sinner and his same-generation players have retired or "sank" in the ATP rankings, Djokovic still moved straight forward to the Master 1000 final.
