Warm Binh Thuan
Throughout the tournament, Binh Thuan had completed its role as the local Organizing Committee. Representatives of the countries have had a positive view of Vietnam in general and Binh Thuan in particular. The World Individual Carom 3-Cushion Billiards Championship organized by the World Carom Billiards Federation, the Vietnam Billiards & Snooker Federation and Binh Thuan Province officially ended with the participants of the 48 world's top players from 26 countries: Korea, Japan, Turkey, Belgium, Spain... Especially, Vietnam had 7 players in the competition.
Binh Thuan has made a good impression on the 2024 World Championship tournament
According to the Organizing Committee, for the first time, the World Individual Carom 3-Cushion Billiards Championship, which is of high professional quality, was held in Vietnam, attracting many high-class athletes to participate. The athletes brought the audience attractive, fierce and artistic matches of 3-cushion billiards.
The reigning champion of the World Individual Carom 3-Cushion Billiards Championship Cho Myung - Woo shared his feelings after the final match: "I am delighted with today's victory. I enjoy participating in this tournament in Binh Thuan. The fans are very enthusiastic and supportive. And I am pleased with everything from the organization to the accommodation during the competition. I made a beautiful friendship with the Vietnamese players”.

The runner-up Tran Thanh Luc, who has a gentle and calm style, was quite amazed at the successful season: “This is the first time I have interviewed in front of many people. I felt a bit of pity and the opponents were so talented.However, losing in the final matchhelped meto see my drawbacks. In the future, I will continue to practice more seriously to deal withmy limitations. I need to prepare well for the upcoming international competitions. Once again, I would like to thank the Organizing Committee and the Binh Thuan audience for their enthusiastic support to the Vietnamese team throughout the tournament.”
It must be said that the atmosphere of the final match was extremely fascinating, all the tickets were sold out. “As soon as the semi-final match between Thanh Luc and Dick. Jaspers ended, I immediately moved from Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet City to watch the final match. I am really proud that the tournament was held in such a wonderful place,” said Le Thanh Phu (living in Ho Chi Minh City).

Although his journey was not too long, player Dick Jaspers has a lot of feelings for Binh Thuan: “It was my first time coming to Binh Thuan, but I found everything very impressive. The competition area is located right in a beautiful resort. We had a great time here.”
Player Tran Duc Minh said: When the tournament was held in Vietnam, specifically Binh Thuan, obviously, beside my responsibility, I wanted to promote the image of Vietnam and Binh Thuan to international friends.

The presidentof the World Billiards Federation, Mr. Farouk Barki could not hold his feelings at the closing ceremony.“I am very happy to say that we have decided to choose Binh Thuan to host the tournament. An important tournament like thismust be carefully managed in terms of the competition location, accommodations for players and organizers, food and drink issues... and Binh Thuan has done a great job”.
He also shared: “I am sure that all athletes and fans have witnessed impressive and truly memorable matches in the past few days. Thanks to Binh Thuan province, sponsors, organizers, and volunteers... for making a successful tournament. We will definitely come back here in the future.”
