PPC Chairman gives courtesy reception to new Chinese Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City

BTO-Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Ngoc Hai on March 1st, arranged a courtesy reception for Chen Dehai-the newly-appointed Consul General of China in Ho Chi Minh city.

During the meeting, Chen Dehai thanked the local authorities for warm welcome and expressed his admiration for the achievements made by the Party, the government and people of Binh Thuan province in the recent years. He also sent his deep gratitude to the authorities at all levels for considerate support and best conditions for Chinese investors doing business in Binh Thuan, hoping that they would receive such favourable conditions to expand investment projects  in many sectors as: wind power, agriculture, tourism, science-technology, healthcare, education…

Hai gave a brief introduction about Binh Thuan’s socioeconomic development, potential, advantages and investment attraction policies, urging  Chen to encourage Chinese companies to purchase Binh Thuan dragon fruit via official export contracts in order to ensure a sustainable trading partnership. Hai also made a promise that the local authorities would facilitate the construction of Vinh Tan Thermal Power Plant, saying that the completed project of Vinh Tan Thermal Power Plant is expected to boost the bilateral relationship between the Vietnamese and Chinese people.
