Phan Thiet tightens measures on Covid-19 prevention and control from 0:00 on September 12th

BTO- From 0:00 on September 12th, a number of stricter measures on Covid-19 prevention and control will be implemented, according to the People’s Committee of Phan Thiet City.

Although the City has been lifted its highest level of lockdown measures under Directive No.16 of the Prime Minister since September 8th, it still maintains a number of Covid-19 checkpoints at the gateways to Phan Thiet city. In the meantime, three more checkpoints are set up in the border areas of Phu Hai – Phu Long, Thien Nghiep- Ham Duc, and Hong Phong. Moreover, the 4 mobile patrol teams keep maintaining to monitor and check the vehicles and travelers entering Phan Thiet city.

For staffs and civil servants, employees, journalists, medical staff may enter the City with travel permits issued by official authorities and agencies.

Delivery persons, Taxi drivers must present effective proof of negative results with SARS-CoV-2 within 72 hours and Identification cards when entering the city.

Truck Drivers, drivers’ assistants and people from epidemic-ravaged areas must make declarations plus effective proofs of negative results with SARS-CoV-2 within 72 hours and Identification cards when entering the city. For citizens of Phan Thiet living in outskirts can prevent the same documents and proofs within 7 days.
