This annual event drew many high-ranked surfers from many countries and territories such as: the US, Russia, UK, Spain, France, Germany, Estonia, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam. Professionals (both male and female) raced for 3,200m into the wind following a W-shaped track.
Alexey Truson and Anna Sagulenko (Russia) won the first places for mle and female while the second and third places (men) also went to Russian athletes, Marsim Koshkin and Shamil. Vietnamese surfer Tran thi Kim Chi won the third place for women.
