The event had the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung-Secretary of the provincial Party committee cum Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, Mr. Huynh Thanh Canh- Standing deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Mr. Duong Van An- deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hai-Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh- vice chairman of the provincial People’s Council, old revolutionaries; formers leaders; representatives of people’s armed forces, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union branch, as well as numerous residents of Hong Son commune-Ham Thuan Bac district.
Provincial leaders respectfully laid wreaths, offered incense to show gratitude to those who sacrificed their lives during two resistance wars.

After the ceremony, the delegates also visited Ho Chi Minh Museum-Binh Thuan branch to offer incense, flowers in tribute of President Ho Chi Minh.
Earlier, in Friday evening (July 24), a candle lighting ceremony was held at the provincial martyrs' cemetery for leaders, cadres, youth union members, students and local people to show deep gratitude to fallen soldiers. Attending the ceremony, there were Secretary of the provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Nguyen Manh Hung, deputy secretary of the provincial Party Committee Duong Van An, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Hoa, leaders of the provincial committee of Vietnam Fatherland front, departments/branches/agencies, organizations, Vietnamese heroic mothers, and hundreds of youth union members.
At the ceremony, over 9,000 candles were lit up to commemorate more than 9,000 martyrs at the cemetery. This is a meaningful activity to promote education among youth about patriotism, revolutionary traditions and national pride, contributing to boosting awareness of young generations about the responsibility for showing respects and deep gratitude under the tradition “drinking water, remember sources” of Vietnamese People.
