The resolutions consist of diversifying tourism products, entertainment shows, conference…; boosting tourism promotion at home and abroad; expanding its marketing reach into new markets; building synchronous infrastructure systems, services and tours; training tourism knowledge for street vendors; maximum exploitation of coastal tourism resources in communes Thuan Quy and Tan Thanh; improving quality of local festivals such as Ta Cu mountain climbing contest, bike racing around Ta Cu mountain, the death anniversary of the ancestor on October 5th (lunar calendar)… The resorts implement their marketing practices, civilized behavior for tourists. The functional departments of the district clean tourism environment (no garbage, no begging…), check food safety and hygiene, encourage investment…
Thanks to the priority policy, 73 projects in Ham Thuan Nam district have been approved by Binh Thuan People’s Committee, with total registered capital of VND 6,637 billion, covering 772 hectares. 16 projects have been in operation; 22 ones are being constructed. There are 6 hotels and resorts ranked from one-star to 5 stars: Anh Duong resort, Thanh Binh I, Doi Su, Saigon – Suoi Nhum, Rock Water Bay, Princess d'an Nam resort. Specially, the People’s Committee of the district promptly solved difficulties for enterprises. 3 projects (Gia Bien resort, Van Ke, Thuan Nam) were withdrawn by Binh Thuan People’s Committee due to Lack of financial capacity . The others – Lien Huong – Saigon, Phuong Anh II, Sapa Nirvana, Cam Thai have been extended until December 31th 2016. If the projects have not been performed, they will be withdrawn officially.
