Addressing the ceremony, President Phuc highlighted that during the 2016-2021 tenure which was full of difficulties and challenges, Thinh had well performed her role and duties as Vice President.
He said as Vice President, Thinh had assisted the President in ensuring the close and effective coordination between the President and the National Assembly, the Government, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front. She actively engaged in and personally directed the operation of the standing board of the Central Council for Emulation and Reward.
President Phuc also praised the former Vice President for her outstanding contributions to social work and external relations, thus helping consolidate the great national unity bloc and promote international cooperation.
